Desc: This is a USCF-rated event for the Kleptz YMCA of Englewood Chess Club. (Non-members from the community pay $5 to the YMCA at the site.) ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. Cost: $15 (payable online). Prize Fund. Guaranteed $400. 7 Categories—one prize per category. First overall $100; Categories A/B/C/D/E/Under 1000 & Unrated $50. Any profit will go to the Brethren Youth Group. It starts at 9 am sharp. Limited to the first 36 to register online. The time control is G25+5. New or first-time players must obtain a USCF membership by going to Join US Chess
Bring a clock and a regulation chess set. Some supplied. Clocks without an increment time, e.g., delay or analog, will be adjusted by adding 5 minutes. The event is expected to conclude by 1:15 pm.
