Desc: This event begins at 9:00am on Sunday 9/1/24 and is the official Florida State Blitz Chess Championship ************************************************************** This is a side event of the 2024 Harvey Lerman Florida State Championship (USCF Membership can be purchased here and is required: https://new.uschess.org/form/membership ************************************************************** The tournament is 4-Double SS tournament with G/5 time control, byes must be requested before round 1. Chess players are responsible for bringing their own set and clock to the event. ************************************************************** Top Florida resident gets trophy and title of Florida State Blitz Champion. One section open to everyone, prize payout percentage based on entries 1st Place: 25%, 2nd Place: 15%, Top U1800: 10%, Top U1200: 10%. Current USCF membership is required for participation.
