Name: Gator Chess Club Championship Blitz  
Desc:
Format: A USCF blitz rated 7-round tournament. Open to University of Florida students, faculty, staff, and alumni as well as the general public! Top scoring University of Florida student, faculty, or staff will earn the title of Club Blitz Champion.

Schedule: Starts one hour after the GothamChess event on 11/11 which will be around 3 pm. Each round will start immediately after the previous round finishes. Expected to finish around 5pm.

Time Control: Game in 3 minutes with a 2 second increment per move

Entry Fee: $15 on or before 11/5, $20 after or on-site.

Prizes Prizes ($500 based on 40 players):
 Open Section: $125 - $75 - $50
   U2000: $50
   U1700: $50
   U1400: $50
   U1100: $50
   U800/Unrated: $50

Note:This event requires parents, guardians, or teachers to be responsible for the care, custody, and control of the minor participants, the University of Florida will not provide supervision.
