Round 1: 1:15p, Round 2: 2:45p, Round 3: 4:00p, Dinner Break, Round 4: 6:15p, with awards to follow. Anticipated completion: 7:30p

- Sections may be combined if there are fewer than 6 players registered for a section
Entry Fees with online registration:
• Adult: $25
• Scholastic: $15
- Entry fees increase by $5 on day of event for all sections. Walk-in registrations will be given a round 1 bye.
Prizes:
• Adult section: A minimum of 60% of Adult section entry fees will be returned as cash prizes to top performers including a Best U1600 prize.
• Scholastic sections: Trophies and/or Medals will be awarded to top performers in scholastic sections.
Byes: One ½ point bye allowed. Must be requested prior to round 2 being paired and cannot be changed

Additional Information: (Please Read)
• Attendance will be limited to 60 total players so please register early to guarantee a spot.
• There will be no on-site registration for round 1 of this event to help have an on-time start. I will leave online registration open until 11a the morning of the tournament (unless we are already full), and if you want to register on-site and there is still space you can play after a round 1 bye. If you prefer to pay in person, please email or call to reserve your spot in the tournament.
• All players must have a valid, active USCF membership to play. You can obtain or renew USCF membership with registration online, at the door, or directly from the USCF at uschess.org.
• Scholastic section entrants must be in grades K - 12 and rated under 1200 USCF. Over 1200 rated students should register for the Adult section. Students rated between 1000 and 1200 may choose either Scholastic or Adult.
• The current Month’s USCF Rating Supplement will be used for pairings and prizes. The highest of blitz, quick, or regular rating may be used for pairing and prizes at the tournament director's discretion.
• These tie break systems will be used for non-monetary prize determination if needed: Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, Cumulative opponent's score.
• Players in all sections are expected to bring their own regulation chess sets and clocks.
• The recreation center has refrigerators and microwaves available for people who would like to bring a meal for the dinner break between rounds 3 & 4. There are also a number of restaurants within a short drive of the venue.
• Photos may be taken during the event and shared on the club's website and/or social media accounts.
