Online registration at www.chessregister.com will close 9/12/25 at 8 PM Schedule: 2-day schedule: Reg Sat 9-30 to 10:45 am, rds. Sat 11, 2 & 5, Sun 10 am & 3:15pm. One irrevocable half-point bye allowed in any round, must commit before round 2. WVCA membership is required for in-state residents competing in the State Championship. Membership must be obtained before or at the start of the event. The State Championship title will not be awarded to anyone who did not obtain membership before or at the start of the event. WVCA Annual Business meeting will be held at 10 am, Saturday, 9/13/25 The highest finishing Junior WVCA member participant will be the 2025 WVCA Junior Champion and will be awarded an appropriate trophy. This is a Marshall home football weekend, please consider making room reservations early.
