This event begins at 7:00pm on Saturday 3/15/25 and is the Florida State Scholastic Blitz Chess Championship. ************************************************************** This is a side event of the 2025 Florida State Scholastic Championship (USCF Membership can be purchased here and is required: https://new.uschess.org/form/membership ************************************************************** The tournament is 4-Double SS tournament with G/3+2 time control, byes must be requested before round 1. Chess players are responsible for bringing their chess clock to the event, we provide the sets. ************************************************************** There are three sections for this event: K-6, K-12, and Friends & Family. The scholastic sections prizes are trophies to the top finishers and is US Chess Blitz rated. The Friends & Family section have a prize payout percentage based on entries 1st Place: 25%, 2nd Place: 15%, Top U1800: 10%, Top U1200: 10% this section is not rated.
